/ Blog Migration

Over the next week or so, I will be migrating my blog from it’s old host to this new one. Due to my busy schedule this past semester, I wasn’t able to post much. I will be catching up on posts during the migration and hope to be able to keep it up. This blog will begin to fill up.
There are a couple reasons that I am migrating to my other host. The first is that I found some very unsettling messages in the error logs for my blog. It seems that (it being the open blog it is) it is under constant attack by hackers. While they may not be getting in, the fact that they are so persistent is annoying. It is affecting load on my host. These aren’t just random once-a-day attacks. These attempts are happening at least once a second. Moving to this host, I have far more security and processing power. The other reason for moving is that I now have just one host to manage (and pay for).
