Thank you everyone that donated for helping keep Soku Lobby online. The server was migrated a while back. Now it’s running on a less powerful host, but much cheaper. It was $200/mo. and now it’s $20/mo. – a tenth of the cost.

The Soku Lobby server was recently migrated to a new host. The new host has significantly less resources, but enough to run the server easily. The migration happened on Monday night, and took a couple hours. No updates are needed for the program, no need to re-create accounts, custom welcome messages, or anything. During the past couple of days, there have been various updates to Soku Lobby. There wasn’t really anything added in those. What was changed is the server that the program communicates with. It now gets its updates from a new location, and communicates with a different IP address for the lobby, chat, and etc. I did some much needed cleanup on my dedicated host when doing this.
Hopefully, in the next week or so, there will be a more significant update to the program. Read More
